Khó ăn khó nói

Chỉ tình thế khó bày tỏ thẳng thắn hoặc khó xử sự cho phải vì còn e ngại, nể nang hay sợ mất lòng. Thường dùng để nói về hoàn cảnh khiến người ta lúng túng trong lời nói và cách ứng xử.

Refers to a situation in which it is difficult to speak frankly or behave appropriately because of hesitation, deference, or fear of offending someone. It is used for circumstances that leave a person awkward and unsure of what to say or do.
